Better Together is a digital subscription service. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing. By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Subscription Model
Better Together is sold as a recurring monthly subscription, billed per active process instance. Access to the service begins immediately upon successful payment.
2. Right to Cancel – Consumer Contracts
Because Better Together is a digital service that begins immediately upon purchase, you expressly waive your statutory 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 by requesting immediate access and acknowledging that the right to cancel will be lost once the service has begun.
This waiver does not affect your other statutory rights.
3. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us via our Discord server.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to your process instances until the period expires.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
4. Refund Eligibility
We do not offer routine refunds on monthly subscription payments. However, we will consider a refund in the following circumstances:
- Billing error – if you were charged incorrectly (e.g. duplicate charge), we will refund the erroneous amount in full.
- Extended service outage – if a verified outage caused by our platform (not a third-party dependency) prevents access to the service for more than 72 consecutive hours within a paid billing period, you may request a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected days.
- Unused new subscription – if you contact us within 48 hours of your very first subscription payment and have not used the service, we will issue a full refund at our discretion.
5. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Change of mind after the 48-hour new-subscriber window.
- Failure to cancel before a renewal date.
- Account suspension or termination resulting from a breach of our Terms of Service.
- Interruptions caused by third-party services (Mojang/Microsoft, Discord, Stripe, etc.).
- Incompatibility with your own server configuration or Minecraft version.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us via our Discord community server and include:
- Your account username or registered email address.
- The date of the charge in question.
- A brief description of the reason for your request.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
7. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us to resolve any billing issue before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension and recovery of the disputed amount.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the service following any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
