Terms of Service

1. About Better Together

Better Together ("we", "us", "our") is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides management tools for Minecraft Bedrock Edition server bridge processes. The service allows you to create, configure, monitor, and operate bridge instances that enable console players to connect to Bedrock Edition servers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Better Together. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorised access.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• A Microsoft account is used to authenticate your Bedrock bridge process. You are solely responsible for the Microsoft account you connect and for complying with Microsoft's Terms of Service.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Better Together operates on a recurring monthly subscription per process instance.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes and are denominated in the currency shown at checkout.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Any price change will apply at the start of your next billing cycle.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Better Together to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, including Mojang Studios and Microsoft.
• Distribute malware, run denial-of-service attacks, or carry out other malicious activity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data.
• Resell, sublicence, or commercially redistribute our service without written authorisation.
• Use the service in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

6. Third-Party Services

The platform integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payment processing), Brevo (transactional email), Discord (webhooks and community), and Microsoft (Bedrock account authentication). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or conduct.

7. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and unforeseen circumstances may cause downtime. We will not be liable for losses arising from service unavailability.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, design, and content comprising the Better Together platform remain our exclusive intellectual property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform solely for its intended purpose during an active subscription.

"Minecraft" and "Bedrock Edition" are trademarks of Mojang Studios. Better Together is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft Corporation.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your process instances will be deactivated and your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Together shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
